We are a small friendly school, which means everyone gets the chance to shine!
A brief history-
The apple dance company started as a children’s ballet group at Kingsnorth recreation centre in 2000 as the Ashford School of Ballet. Since then, although ballet is still the mainstay and foundation for the company, changes have taken place and the school has evolved slowly but surely into a vibrant, performance-led dance company, encompassing all the dance disciplines—Ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, showtime and a few others as well! -Such as drama, singing and mime etc.
We like to undertake a big all-school production every 18 months or so, such a rewarding experience for the pupils and they may also take part in festivals etc. Royal Academy of Dance Exams may also be taken.
